CCO Resources — Official CSI Links

Official CSI resources for CCO: course page, curriculum, exam credits, and route-status checks for the current chief-compliance-officer paper.

Use these CSI sources when you need the current CCO structure, weighting, and course-status notes rather than an older compliance-path summary. CCO has its own current course-status note, so the official CSI pages matter more than older registration checklists.

CCO sits in the chief-compliance-officer governance and implementation lane, not the branch-control or representative-conduct lane. That means the official source set matters most when you need to confirm whether you are actually in the right compliance-governance route before you spend time on weighting and chapter order.

What to confirm before you book

SourceWhat to confirm
CCO course pagecurrent CCO route note, including the January 1, 2026 CIRO-related status change
CCO curriculumwhether your reading order still matches the official chapter sequence
CCO exam creditscurrent question count, time, pass mark, attempts, and weightings

Current route note

As of April 17, 2026, CSI says that effective January 1, 2026 CCO is no longer acceptable for the purposes of CIRO approval with an Investment Dealer. If your reason for taking CCO is tied to registration or approval, treat the current CCO course page and the CIRO proficiency site as the controlling sources.

Strongest review sequence

StepWhy it works
start with the exam-credits pageit shows immediately that application of skills is the main block
move to the curriculum pageit gives the chapter map once the weighting priorities are already clear
use the course page lastit is the right place for the current route note and CSI administration
then move into exact web practicethat is the right stage to train pacing on the live 100-question structure

Common weak resource habits

  • treating CCO as a policy-vocabulary paper instead of an implementation paper
  • reading implementation skills last just because they are listed later in the curriculum
  • missing the January 1, 2026 route-status note because older compliance notes never mention it
  • opening timed mixed practice before the control, evidence, and escalation logic is stable

How to use these CCO resources

  • Use the curriculum page as the topic map, then use the exam-credits page when you need the sharper weighting signal.
  • Use the course page when you need the current course-status note and administrative framing, not just the syllabus.
  • Reconfirm the official CSI pages before relying on CCO for a registration or career-path decision.
  • If your real question is CCO or CCC?, answer that on the course page first and then use the curriculum plus exam-credits pages to confirm whether you need the chief-compliance-officer lane or the broader dealer-compliance lane.
