PDO Resources — Official CSI Links

Official CSI resources for PDO: course page, curriculum, exam credits, and route-status checks for the current governance paper.

Use these links as your source of truth for PDO. CSI updates course structure, curriculum scope, and exam-administration details on its own pages first, so use the official material to confirm anything operational before exam week.

PDO sits in the governance, director, partner, and senior-officer oversight lane. That means the official source set matters most when you need to confirm whether you are in the senior-governance route at all before you spend time on weighting and chapter sequence.

What to confirm before you book

SourceWhat to confirm

PDO curriculumwhether your reading order still matches the official governance and risk sequence
PDO exam creditscurrent question count, time, pass mark, attempts, and weightings

Current route note

As of April 17, 2026, CSI says that effective January 1, 2026 PDO is no longer acceptable for the purposes of CIRO approval with an Investment Dealer. If your reason for taking PDO is tied to registration or approval, treat the current PDO course page and the CIRO proficiency site as the controlling sources.

Strongest review sequence

StepWhy it works
start with the exam-credits pageit shows immediately which governance and liability blocks dominate PDO
move to the curriculum pageit gives the full chapter map once the weighting priorities are already clear
use the course page lastit is the right place for the current route note and CSI administration
then move into exact web practicethat is the right stage to train pacing on the live 80-question structure

Common weak resource habits

  • treating PDO as a pure governance-vocabulary paper
  • separating business-model risk from liability and remediation review
  • missing the January 1, 2026 route-status note because older notes never mention it
  • opening timed mixed practice before the first-action and escalation logic is stable

How to use these resources for PDO

  • Use the curriculum page to build your reading order so governance, conduct, and oversight topics stay connected instead of fragmenting into isolated rules.
  • Use the exam-credits page to decide which PDO areas deserve the largest share of your final review time.
  • Recheck CSI before exam week if your notes are older than the current enrollment cycle or you need to confirm operational details.
  • If your real question is PDO or CCO?, answer that on the course page first and then use the curriculum plus exam-credits pages to confirm whether you need the senior-governance lane or the chief-compliance-officer lane.
