Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SecuritiesMastery.com and Securities Prep, including the subscriber web app at masteryexamprep.com/app/securities/, and associated educational materials and services. By using the services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

1) Who we are

“We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Securities Mastery and its operators. We are an independent educational publisher and are not affiliated with or endorsed by CIRO, CSI, FP Canada, FINRA, the SEC, the MSRB, NASAA, CISI, Prometric, or any broker-dealer, insurer, regulator, or training provider.

2) Educational purpose only

Content is provided for educational and exam-preparation purposes only. It is not investment, legal, tax, accounting, compliance, or professional licensing advice. You are responsible for verifying official rules, policies, and exam requirements with the relevant official source.

3) Accounts and eligibility

• You must satisfy any age or legal requirements applicable in your jurisdiction to create an account or purchase access.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

4) Mobile subscriptions and web access

• Securities Prep subscriptions are sold through Apple App Store or Google Play. If your subscription includes web access, you may also use the web app at masteryexamprep.com/app/securities/ with the same account credentials and active entitlement, including email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.
• No separate web subscription is required when that entitlement is active.
• Pricing, trials, access duration, and promotions are presented at checkout and may change prospectively.

5) Billing, cancellations, and refunds

• Billing is managed by the store where you subscribed.
• Cancellations are handled through your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Refunds are subject to the relevant store’s policies unless otherwise required by law.
• Support questions can be sent to support@tokenizer.ca.

6) Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the services for your personal, non-commercial study. You agree not to:

• Copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly post our content, question banks, or explanations.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automation to extract material or interfere with the services.
• Circumvent access controls or remove notices related to copyright or trademarks.
• Use the services in a way that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive.

7) Intellectual property

The services, including text, questions, explanations, diagrams, branding, and design, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

8) No affiliation and trademarks

We are independent. Use of exam names, regulator names, and trademarks is for identification and descriptive purposes only. All such marks remain the property of their respective owners.

9) Availability and updates

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time. We aim for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10) Third-party links and tools

The services may link to third-party sites, including official regulators, app stores, or other resources. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

11) Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL PASS ANY EXAMINATION OR ACHIEVE ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the services giving rise to the claim in the three months preceding the claim.

13) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, your licence to use the services ends immediately.

14) Governing law

Unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

15) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
